Beautiful, glorious summer has arrived!

Friday was the Backstage Reunion Pool Party. We got rained out halfway through, but I still had fun. Emilymae tried to teach Annie, Jess, and I how to sit on the bottom. (Note the word tried.)

Saturday was Alexis's baptism. She got dunked in my pool :)

On Sunday, we had house church at the Coffman's house. There were 75 people there... I think that breaks some sort of record.

I found my old bike in the Coffman's garage! It still fits!

Later that day I had my first day of work. It was drizzling, but there were still a bunch of hoodlums swimming. Crazy hoodlums.

Yesterday, Codie had school, Dad and Hayden went to be with Cole during his surgery, and Mom had a toothache, so I had to walk to work. Four miles. In the rain. Uphill. (Okay, not exactly uphill... but it adds dramatic effect!) I got to the pool absolutlely soaked, and my manager said that I could go home because f the weather. I was quite angry.

Today I took a lovely nap. As did Sadie:

I am half an essay and one final away from summer.

This is terribly exciting.

Peter Pan is obviously over. It was an awkwardly enjoyable (enjoyably awkward?) show. I had so much fun with my ah-ah girls and my stretchy indians and my heavily makeup-ed pirates. My voice is forever damaged from all the argh-ing. Ouch. On Friday, we had our strike party. (cue pix)

And now for something completely different... I had my first two finals today: French and physics. I actaully studied for both of them, but I wasn't too concerned about french since it is my easiest class. I was very surprised to find that my french final was much more difficult than I had anticipated, but physics was fairly simple. Funny how that works out...

Its scary to think that at this time on Friday, I will officially be a senior. A senior. In high school. That sounds so old. That IS old. Hayden's graduation is tomorrow night. He's going to be a freshman. Woww.

I'm going to try not to think about this anymore :)

Peter Pan schools day shows started today.

I scared the crud out of some second graders.

I'd like to fly someday.

Secrets make me nauseous.

So does stage makeup.

My APUSH exam is tomorrow.

I'm not afraid. Dad bought me a scone.

Man, it's tough being a gangster.

I took the ACT today.

I may end up going to college after all.... but we shouldn't get our hopes up.

I don't think I'm going to prom.... but up until today I thought that that was okay. Mary almost convinced Kelly to go stag with me. But she doesn't want to. So now we're not. I think its official. I'm accepting it. Alex Agos, our date is on for the fourth!

On another note, I had my interview for the pool last week. My new boss and I had the following conversation:

MATT: So... what do your enemies say about you?

ME: ...... my enemies?

MATT: Yeah, like when people gossip about you what do they say? What makes you unlikeable?

ME: (long pause) Well.... kids at school think I'm... weird.

MATT: So... you're a weirdo?

ME: ...Yes.

Ohh this summer will be interesting.

Hmmm... I have nothing else to say.
